Sugar Cane

Origin – Typically sourced from tropical regions such as Thailand, India, and the Caribbean.

Preparation – Cut the cane into manageable lengths. Peel away the hard outer skin with a knife to reveal the fibrous inner flesh. Chew the inner stalk to extract the sweet juice, then discard the remaining fibre. Sugar cane can also be juiced using a sugar cane press for a refreshing drink.

Storage – Keep whole sugar cane stalks in a cool, dry place or refrigerate to maintain freshness. Once peeled or cut, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within a few days.

Average weight – Stalk sizes vary, but a typical segment of sugar cane weighs between 125g and 150g depending on length and thickness.

Seasonality – Available year-round in most growing regions.

We offer next day delivery on all orders placed between Monday and Friday before 3:30pm. Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on Monday. Deliveries are an all day service and the Courier will provide a time slot on the day.

Due to the perishable nature of the product we do not offer any returns although we are more than happy to mediate any issues you may encounter. Contact us within 24hrs of delivery and we will resolve all and any issues. Our main priority is that our customers have an enjoyable experience.
