Mangosteen

Also known as - Purple Mangosteen, Fruit des Rois, Garcinia Mangostana, Mang Cut, Manggis, Manggistan, Mangostan, Queen of Fruits, Xango.

Origin - Indonesia, Thailand, Colombia, Vietnam or Sri Lanka.

Preparation - The mangosteen are ripe and ready to eat upon arrival.
With your fingers squeeze the mangosteen around the 'equator' to separate the purple shell into 2 pieces and eat the delicious white flesh inside.
If the mangosteen have become firm you can use a knife to open them.

Usage - Most often simply eaten fresh. Do not eat the seeds.
In Southeast Asia you can find mangosteen canned in syrup and also freeze-dried mangosteen.

Storage - The mangosteen must be refrigerated and consumed within a few days.

Seasonality - Mangosteen are usually available all year round, as we can source it from various countries.

We offer next day delivery on all orders placed between Monday and Friday before 2pm. Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on Monday. Deliveries are an all day service and the Courier will provide a time slot on the day.

Due to the perishable nature of the product we do not offer any returns although we are more than happy to mediate any issues you may encounter. Contact us within 24hrs of delivery and we will resolve all and any issues. Our main priority is that our customers have an enjoyable experience.
