Tamarillo

Also known as - Tree tomato & Tomate de Arbol.

Origin - Colombia.

Preparation - Slice in half and scoop out the central part. Avoid the flesh closest to the skin due to its bitterness. The skin isn't eaten.

Usage - Tamarillo are great for sauces and chutneys but can also simply be eaten fresh out of hand or added to salads and sandwiches. In some countries they are used to make juice. Sugar is normally added.

Storage - Allow to ripen at room temperature until the fruit yields to gentle pressure. Refrigerate once ripe.

This selection isn't packed in our gift boxes although we do offer the chance to get a complimentary handwritten gift message should you want to gift it.

We offer next day delivery on all orders placed between Monday and Friday before 2pm. Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on Monday. Deliveries are an all day service and the Courier will provide a time slot on the day.

Due to the perishable nature of the product we do not offer any returns although we are more than happy to mediate any issues you may encounter. Contact us within 24hrs of delivery and we will resolve all and any issues. Our main priority is that our customers have an enjoyable experience.
