Also known as - Cocoa bean, cocoa, coco.

Origin - Colombia, Ecuador, St Lucia or Vietnam.

Variety - Criollo, Forastero or Trinitario.

Preparation - Cut it lengthwise to obtain the beans. Use a spoon to scoop out the pulp.

Usage - The beans, covered in a delicious sweet pulp, can be eaten raw or added to your favourite smoothie. Cacao powder is made from the beans once they have been dried, roasted and grinded.

Storage - It can be preserved through refrigeration but will ripen at room temperature.

Average weight - Cacao pods vary greatly in weight, ranging from approximately 500-800g.

This selection isn't packed in our gift boxes although we do offer the chance to get a complimentary handwritten gift message should you want to gift it.

We offer next day delivery on all orders placed between Monday and Friday before 2pm. Orders placed over the weekend are dispatched on Monday. Deliveries are an all day service and the Courier will provide a time slot on the day.

Due to the perishable nature of the product we do not offer any returns although we are more than happy to mediate any issues you may encounter. We recommend you contact us within 24hrs of receiving your order. Our main priority is that our customers have an enjoyable experience.
